About the blog:
The primary purpose of this blog is to share my love for food and cooking, and my desire to cultivate creativity within myself. However, as this is my blog, and therefore the content is ultimately up to me, I cannot rule out deviations from the topics noted above. Potential topics may include, but are certainly not limited to, raving about My Dogs, stories about My Vacations, general happenings in my life, commentary on my favorite television shows (trashy and non-trashy alike), and pretty much anything else that strikes my fancy!
Well where to begin?
My name is Bailey. I am the second oldest for four children, born unto a beautiful, strong, and inspiring woman. In the year 1985 this woman gave me life, and subsequently named me after a character from the late '70s, mildly popular sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati"
I recently left my demanding auditing position for a much more relaxed and gratifying job. My position is still very difficult to explain, but I'll give it a shot.
Basically, I work for a non-profit, governmental agency. We support the insurance industry and its consumers. I'm so thankful to have made this switch! Not only do I enjoy the work itself more, but I also have my life back. Work/life balance and employee appreciation are two concepts that rank highly at this organization.
That being said, I can safely say I now have more time to pursue my ever-growing list of hobbies! I'm mostly hoping to be able to document those hobbies better through more frequent updates to this blog. I haven't done a very good job of this in the past because I was being pulled in 20 different directions.
I recently got married and I love to make delicious and healthy dinners for me and my husband. When I'm feeling especially crafty, I have been known to whip up a few paper crafts, like Christmas and other types of cards, scrapbooks, photo albums and more. With my new schedule I have a few extra hours in the evenings. I've come to enjoy spending some of that time at a nearby gym. I especially love the Body Pump and Body Flow classes. They are really cool ways to spend an hour working out!
Anyway, that's just a little bit about me. Stay with me and find out more!
